Nouhad is specialised in the field of communication, language and learning disorders. She works one-on-one and in groups, focusing on children and teenagers. She is also a Hanen Centre (Canada) certified therapist, and thus works closely with families to provide early screening and coaching.
Education
- Studied speech and language therapy at Saint Joseph University of Beirut (graduated with distinction in 2010)
- Masters degree in Cognition and Neuroscience at the University of François Rabelais of Tours - France (2011)
- Hanen Centre (Canada) certified therapist
- PhD candidate in Speech Sciences at Newcastle University (UK), focusing on prevention and early language development.
Experience
Nouhad has 10+ years of experience in speech therapy, and has helped 200+ children improve and better adapt to their condition. She has worked with children in-clinic, in schools, in specialised institutions, and online. She works closely with both children and parents to help them deal with the day-to-day stress caused by their respective condition. In addition to providing speech therapy services, Nouhad is involved in several ongoing research projects and teaching modules at the Higher Institute of Speech and Language Therapy at Saint Joseph University of Beirut.
